Common Interest Groups

Organizations that advocate for specific issues or interests, such as labor rights or women's equality.

AFL-CIO

A federation that strives to ensure all working people are treated fairly, with decent paychecks and benefits, safe jobs, dignity, and equal opportunities.

National Organization for Women (NOW)

An organization aiming to bring about equality for all women and eliminate discrimination and violence against women.

National Rifle Association (NRA)

An association primarily focused on promoting and encouraging rifle shooting and representing the interests of gun holders.

PACs

Political Action Committees that raise and distribute money for use in election campaigns.
