Forced Migration
Movement of people away from their home or region due to coercion, threats to life/livelihood, or violent conditions (e.g., war, persecution, natural disasters).
Voluntary Migration
Movement of people by their own free choice, usually to seek better opportunities, lifestyle, education, or employment.
International Migration
Movement of people across international borders from one country to settle in another.
National/internal migrant
Movement of people from one religion or place to another country(e.g.,Movement from a rural town to a city).
Regular migrant
Movement of people that occurs through legal ,recognised,and authorised channels (e.g.,using valid visas ,work permits, or passport).
Irregular migrant
Movement of people that takes places outside the legal and regular framework of the original, transit,or destination country (e.g., overstaying a visa or unauthorised border crossing ).
Economic migrant
A person who leaves their home country primarily to improve their standards of living financial situation, or job prospects elsewhere
