What is an incident?

An incident is any event that has the potential to negatively impact members, guest, and team members.

Minor Incidents

Theft, allergic reactions, minor cuts and bruises and slips and falls

Major Incidents

Broken bones, heart attack, water rescue, code 100, code green

Emergency Incidents

fire, bomb threat, active threat or shooting and natural disaster

How to handle incidents?

How to stay prepared for emergency

Refer to THINK Binder, know your club, participate in training programs

Responding to an emergency
