Dichotomy
A division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different.
Superfluous
Unnecessary, especially through being more than enough; redundant.
Equivocate
To use ambiguous language to conceal the truth or avoid committing oneself.
Taciturn
Reserved or uncommunicative in speech; saying little.
Anachronism
A thing belonging or appropriate to a period other than that in which it exists, especially a thing that is old-fashioned.
Enervate
To cause someone to feel drained of energy or vitality; to weaken.
Recalcitrant
Having an obstinately uncooperative attitude toward authority or discipline.
Fastidious
Very attentive to and concerned about accuracy and detail; meticulous.
