Domestic Truck Driving School Inspection

Intro

I start my walk around part a steering axle. The purpose of my walk around is to be safe on the road. 1st, I’ll check that the the truck is not leaning to any side, if it is it will have a suspension problem or flat tire, low air pressure, or unbalance cargo. Underneath the truck there’s no sign of leaking of oil and water, not any hoses or electric wires hanging down.

Marker Light

I’m staring my walk around from 5 marker light amber color. No cracks. Not broken. Properly mounted, working properly.

Mirror Bracket

No crack or not broken. Not bent. Properly mounted with the door.

Mirrors

No crack. Not broken. No illegal sticker. Properly Mounted with the rubber seal around, always clean and always adjusted to the side of the trailer.

Windshield

No crack. Not broken. No illegal sticker. Properly mounted with rubber seal around, always clean.

Windshield Wiper Arm

No crack. Not broken. No bent. Working properly. And wiper blades. Not cut. Not frayed with the soft rubber properly mounted.

Hood

No cracks. Not broken. No damage. Properly Mounted and always in lock positions and hood handle free of oil and grease.

Hood Locking Latch

Free of oil and grease. Always in lock position, easy open and easy close.

Grill

No Cracks.Not nroken. No part is missing. properly mounted with the hood free of debris

Headlight

has proper color white and signal. Light with the proper color amber. No cracks, not broken. Properly mounted. Working properly.

Bumper

No cracks, not broken, not hanging. Properly mounted with the frame and foot steps. Free of oil and grease.

License Pllate

Always clean. Visible. Up to date with DMV stickers. Properly mounted with the bumper.

Chain Hook Ups

No cracks. Not broken. Properly mounted with the frame

3 point contact

Now I will open my hood with the 3 point contact and continue my walk around from the passenger side

Radiator

No cracks. No leaks. Properly mounted with the frame and the hoses have no cuts, not frayed, no leaks and properly mounted on both sides

Radiator Fans

No cracks. Not Broken. No blades are missing. Properly mounted and working properly

Radiator Coolant Reservoir

No cracks. No leaks. Filled to the proper coolant level cap on tight. Hoses are properly connected to both sides. No cuts. Not frayed

Water Pump

No cracks. no leaks. Properly mounted. Working properly. Hoses are properly connected to both sides. No cuts, not frayed.

Alternator

No cracks. No burn. Properly mounted. Working properly. Wires are properly connected to both sides. No cuts. Not frayed

Serpentine Belt

Alternator, radiator fans and water pump are driven by the serpentine belt and has no cuts, not frayed. Properly mounted no more than ¾ of an inch. Free play when I press the center of the belt,

Air Filter

No cracks. No blocakge. Hoses bot sides are properly connected. No cuts. Not frayed. No leaks. Intake has no cracks. Not broken, free of debris, always clean

Windshield Reservoir

No cracks. No leaks. Filled to the proper washer level cap on tight and hoses are properly connected to both sides. Not frayed. No cuts.

Governor

No cracks. No leaks. Properly mounted. Working properly. Hoses are properly connected to both side. Not frayed. No cuts

Frame

No illegal welding. No extra holes. No cracks. Not broken. Not bent. Straight from front to back.
