Short statement or math formla that describes what always happens in nature under specific conditions.
Independent Variable
The part of an experiment or equation that you change or control to see what happens.
Dependent Variable
The factor that you measure or test in experiment to see how it responds to change.

Control Group
A standard baseline group in an experiment that does not receive the special treatment or test condition.
