What are spatial patterns in geographic studies?
Spatial patterns are the general arrangements of things being studied and the repeated sequences of events, or processes, that create them.
What is the primary distinction between reference maps and thematic maps?
Reference maps are designed for general information about places, whereas thematic maps show spatial aspects of information or of a specific phenomenon.
