Inspiratory Reserve Volume (IRV)
The volume of air that you can forcibly inhale above and beyond tidal volume.
Tidal Volume (TV)
The volume of air that moves in and out of the lungs during one normal breath.
Functional Residual Capacity (FRC)
The amount of air in the lungs at the end of a normal tidal volume exhalation.
Residual Volume (RV)
The volume of air remaining in the lungs after forceful exhalation that can not be exhaled.
