What’s a inversion?
An inversion in a chromosome occurs when a segment breaks off and reattaches within the same chromosome, but in reverse orientation
Types of inversions
The two types of inversions are paracentric, and pericentric
Paracentric
Paracentric inversions is when part of the Q arm breaks off, and then reverses itself
Pericentric
Pericentric inversions is when part of the P and Q break off and reverse itself
