Schlieffen Plan 

The name of Germany’s plan to avoid a two-front war at the start of WWI. it had 4 steps. 

1. Go after France. Go through Belgium to do that.

2. Defeat France (get it done in 6 weeks!) 

3. Take and block the English channel 

4. Return and attack Russia from the east.  

This plan failed lol.
