How did Pacific Coast Peoples survive?

Seafood, plants, and deer. Low need for farming.

How were Pacific Coast peoples affected by their stable food source?

Many specialized into jobs that benefited the economy and all had more time to practice religion. Overcrowding will become a problem.

What were mound built by Mound Building Peoples?

Dirt sculptures in the shape of snakes or animals built over graves. Had some religious meaning. Ex: Monks Mound at Cahokia

Who were the Adena/Hopewell peoples?

Agriculturally based natives who grew tobacco. Their name came from archeologist who discovered them.
