Zygomatic
The branch of the facial nerve that extends to the upper part of the cheek.
Infraorbital
The nerve that extends to the lower eyelid, side of the nose, upper lip, and mouth.
Automatic nervous system
The system that controls the digestive, respiratory, and circulatory systems.
Rectifier
A device that changes alternating current to direct current.
Nameplate
The location on an appliance where volts, frequencies, and watts consumed are indicated.
Nerve tissue
The type of tissue that coordinates body functions in addition to carrying messages to and from the brain and spinal cord.
Organ
A separate body structure composed of two or more different tissues.
Fibula
The outer and narrower of the two lower leg bones extending from the knee to the ankle.
Trapezius
The muscle (also referred to as the trapeze) that aids in drawing the head back and elevating the shoulder blades.
Sternocleidomastiodis
The muscle used when nodding yes or no.
Procerus
The muscle responsible for drawing down the brow and wrinkling the area across the bridge of the nose.
Veins
Blood vessels that carry impure blood.
Lymph vascular system
A subsystem of the circulatory system responsible for distributing white blood cells to help develop immunity.
General circulation
The process of blood traveling from the heart throughout the body and back to the heart.
Fifth cranial nerve
The nerve also known as the trifacial nerve.
