Applied finishes

Spot UV varnishing

Lamination

Bonding a thin plastic film onto a surface using heat and pressure, often for protection or to create a smooth finish.

Foil blocking

Applying a thin metalic film or coloured foil to the surface using heat and pressure to create a shiny effect.

Embossing

Creating a raised patern or design on a material using dyes and pressure to add tactile and visual elements.

Debossing

Creating a recessed (sunk in) patern or design on a material using dyes and pressure.

Protective finishes

Processes applied to shield the graphic product from damage, wear, moisture or UV light, helping it last longer.

Protective coatings

Special coatings applied to provide specific protection, such as UV resistance for outdoor signs or food-safe barriers for packaging.

Special coatings applied to graphic products used in packaging to ensure they are safe for contact with food.

Self-finishing materials

Materials that have their desired finish built in during manufacture and do not need additonal finishing processes.

Using self-finishing materials to save time and cost because they do not need additonal processes after being cut or shaped.
