• Everyman laments and calls on Good Deeds

• GD is so crippled by sin that she cannot move

• KNOWLEDGE ENTERS

• Knowledge says he will go with Everyman and be his guide

• Knowledge says they gotta go to Confession

• CONFESSION ENTERS

• Confession says Everyman must do penance and suffer with the scourge of penance by knowledge during the pilgrimage

• Everyman prays

• GD is healed!

• Knowledge gives Everyman the Garment of Sorrows, showing contrition

• GD says we should bring along Discretion, Strength, and Beauty

• Knowledge says he must call to mind his Five Wits
