Comparing
Saying how people or things are the same, or alike.
Contrasting
Saying how people or things are different, or not alike.
Comparing Phrases
Expressions used to express similarity, including 'the same', 'similar', 'too', 'in common', 'just like', 'alike', and 'so'.
Contrasting Phrases
Expressions used to express differences, including 'different', 'dissimilar', 'whereas', 'differ', 'but', 'unlike', and 'Not me'.
Alike
Having similarities or sharing the same qualities and traits.
Dissimilar
Not alike; possessing different qualities, character, or appearance.
Whereas
A conjunction used to contrast two different statements or personality traits.
Unlike
Different from; used to point out a contrast between two individuals or things.
In common
Sharing identical or similar interests, features, or traits with someone else.
Outgoing
Friendly, socially active, and comfortable around other people or crowds.
Shy
Nervous or timid in the presence of others, often preferring to avoid crowds.
Stubborn
Unwilling to change one's attitude, position, or opinion.
Ambitious
Having a strong desire and determination to succeed or achieve goals.
Optimistic
Hopeful and confident about the future and positive outcomes.
Patient
Able to accept or tolerate delays or problems calmly without becoming angry.
Self-confident
Feeling trust and confidence in one's own abilities, qualities, and judgment.
Anxious
Feeling worried, nervous, or uneasy, particularly in front of an audience.
Energetic
Showing or involving great activity, vitality, and movement.
Organised
Orderly, systematic, and neat in habits and planning.
Enthusiastic
Showing intense and eager excitement or interest toward an activity.
