Florida's Implied Consent law
By driving in Florida, you agree to submit to a chemical test (breath, blood, or urine) if an officer has reasonable cause to believe you are DUI; refusal results in automatic license suspension.
DUI substance scope
Any substance, including prescription or over-the-counter drugs, that impairs your normal faculties.
Method to sober up
Time (nothing else, such as coffee or cold showers, works).
Standard drink processing time
1 to 121 hours for the body to process one standard drink.
School bus stop rule
You must stop when red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, unless traveling in the opposite direction on a divided highway with a raised median or physical barrier.
Move Over Law
Requires drivers to move over one lane (or slow down if unable) for stopped emergency vehicles, tow trucks, utility vehicles, and other vehicles displaying warning lights.
