Membrane-bound sacs that store and transport materials within cells

Centrosome

A cellular structure found in the cytoplasm of animal cells involved in the process of cell division

Lysosomes

Contains digestive enzymes, responsible for breaking down waste products and worn-out cell parts

Cell Wall

A rigid layer that surrounds and protects the cell membrane,found in plant cells

Chloroplasts

Found in plant cells, convert sunlight into chemical energy

Endoplasmic Reticulum

A network of interconnected membranes that extend throughout the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells

Golgi Apparatus

Helps process and package proteins and lipid molecules to be exported from the cell

Cytoskeleton

Helps cells maintain their shape and internal organization

Flagella

Helps in cell movement and environment sensory

Cilia

Tiny har-like projections that extend from the surface of cells

Microvilli

Tiny, finger-like projections on cells that increase surface are and aid in absorption and secretion
