Lens

→ The clear front surface of the eye that lets light in and helps focus it.

→ A clear fluid between the cornea and lens that nourishes the eye and maintains pressure.

Sclera
→ The white, tough outer layer of the eye that protects it.

Blindpsot
→ The area on the retina where the optic nerve exits; no vision occurs there.

Optic Nerve
→ The nerve that carries visual information from the retina to the brain.

Vitreous Humor
→ A thick, jelly-like substance that fills the back of the eye and helps it keep its shape.

Iris
→ The colored part of the eye that controls how much light enters by adjusting the pupil.
