Unit
A standard with which things are compared, which must be chosen before a measurement can be made.
Physical quantities
All the quantities that can be measured, such as length, mass, time, density, and temperature.
Base quantities
The minimum number of physical quantities selected and standardized such that all other physical quantities can be expressed in terms of them.
Base units
The corresponding units for base quantities.
Derived quantities
Physical quantities defined in terms of base quantities.
Derived units
The corresponding units for derived quantities.
Force
A physical quantity defined in the transcript as Mass (m)×time (t)change in velocity.
