4) significant distress or impairment

state of intense elation or irritability
what is hypomania?
symptoms of mania that are less intense, doesnt involve significant impairment

euphoric joy and wellneing, irritable and angry
what are the motivational symptoms of mania?
seek out new and exciting experiences, want constant activity and companionship
what are the behavioral symptoms of mania?
very active and impulsive, many move and talk quickly(pressured speech)

may show poor judgment, inflates self-esteem/grandiosity
