God allowed Daniel to find favor in the sight of King Darius. Despite how Darius being manipulated by officials to issue the decree, God protected Daniel and Darius recognizes the power and authority on Daniel’s life when he witnesses Daniel’s miraculous survival while in the lion’s den.

How does Proverbs 21:1 relate to Daniel 6?

Daniel prayed, not desiring to be seen, but he entered into his secret place, refusing to obey the law meant to trap him. God rewarded him openly by shutting the mouths of the lion, promoting him in King Darius’s kingdom, and Darius publicly decreeing that Daniel’s God is the true and living God.

Those who watched conspired against Daniel watched him, drew their bows (created a law against prayer) so that they would cast down and slay Daniel, but their plan was foiled because of God sent the angel to shut the mouth of the lion’s. They ended up reaping what they has sown and being thrown in the Lion’s den. The Lord did not leave the judgment of Daniel in hands of man; but he delivered him.
