Resource

An element of Nature that humans use for their sustenance or to create new things for consumption.

Criteria for a Resource

The conditions that an entity must be technologically accessible, economically feasible, and culturally acceptable to be considered a resource.

Exploitation (in the context of Natural Resources)

The extraction, utilisation, and consumption of Natural resources.

Microhydel plant

A plant, such as the one in Himachal Pradesh, that converts the power of flowing water into electricity.

Offshore oil rig

A structure that extracts petroleum from deep below the seabed.
