Report designed to integrate data from sources other than the test itself into the interpretive report

CAPA (computer-assisted psychological assessment)

The assistance computers provide to the test user, not the test taker

CAT (Computer Adaptive Testing)

The computer’s ability to tailor the test to the test taker’s ability or test-taking pattern

Actuarial Assessment

An approach to evaluation characterized by the application of empirically demonstrated statistical rules as determining factor in assessor’s judgment and actions

Mechanical Approach

An application of computer algorithms together with statistical rules and probabilities to generate new findings and recommendations
