Focuses on economic oppression and the class distinction between the bourgeoisie and proletariat

New Marxism

Focuses on the cultural oppression and ideological hegemony

Economic imperialism

When a domestic capitalist society seeks to maintain profit levels by exporting surplus capital

Socialism

The community owns the means of production indirectly through a democratic government, there is some private property, resources are equally distributed, created by democratic reforms

Communism

All property is publicly owned and resources are distributed based on ability and needs, everything is controlled by the single communist party, a violent revolution is needed
