Corpora cavernosa
Cylindrical structures of erectile tissue in the penis that engorge with blood to enable erection.
Scrotum
Thin-walled sac below the pubic bone that contains the testes and regulates their temperature.
Epididymis
Comma-shaped, coiled structure on the testis where spermatozoa mature.
Vas deferens
Muscular tube that transports sperm from the epididymis to the ejaculatory duct.
Prostate gland
Gland that surrounds the neck of the bladder and urethra, secreting fluid that nourishes and protects sperm.
Anorectal junction
The area where the anal canal meets the rectum.
Hypospadias
Congenital condition where the urethral opening is on the underside of the penis.
Cryptorchidism
Condition in which one or both testes fail to descend into the scrotum.
Testicular tumor
An abnormal growth of tissue in the testicle, which can be benign or malignant.
BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia)
Non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that can affect urination.
Varicocele
Enlargement of the veins within the scrotum.
Rectal prolapse
A condition where the rectum protrudes through the anus.
External hemorrhoid
Swollen veins located outside the anus, often causing discomfort and bleeding.
Pilonidal cyst
A cyst that occurs in the skin near the tailbone, often containing hair and skin debris.
HIV/AIDS
A viral infection that attacks the immune system, leading to AIDS if left untreated.
Erectile dysfunction
The inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.
Testicular self-examination
A procedure that men can do to examine their own testicles for lumps or changes.
