Reflecting over y axis

Change sign of x coordinate and leave the y coordinate alone.

Reflecting over x axis

Change sign of y coordinate and leave x coordinate alone.

Translating up

Add number of units to the y coordinate

Translating down

Subtract the number of units from the y coordinate.

Translating right

Add the number of units to the x coordinate.

Translating left

Subtract the number of units from the x coordinate

Rotating 180 degrees in either direction

Change both signs of x and y coordinates

Rotating 90 or 270 degrees in either direction

1. Determine which quadrant your point will end up in

2. Swap x and y coordinates

3. Check signs based on coordinates

If it rotated 180 degrees the numbers are flipped signs

90 degrees, either plot or figure out where your point will end up in. Make sure to check your sign!
