What does a quarterback do?
The player who takes the snap from the center and decides to hand off, passes, or run the ball. (Offensive)
What does the running-back do?
The player who usually lines up behind the QB and mostly runs the ball/sometimes catches and locks. (They use an eagle grip on the ball) (Offensive )
What does a center do?
The player who blocks during the running and passing plays. (Offensive)
What does a Guard/Tackle do?
The player who blocks during running and passing plays. (offensive)
What does a wide receiver do?
The player who runs pass patterns, and catches the ball. (Offensive)
What does a tight end do?
The ONLY player on the offensive line that blocks and catches the ball. (Offensive)
What does a nose guard/tackles/defensive end do?
The player who rushes the QB and stops the run.
What does the Linebackers do?
The player that helps stop the run and covers potential receivers.
What does a Defensive backs (corner/safeties) do?
This is the player who mainly covers the receivers and assist on the running plays.

What is safety?
2 points that is given to a defensive team when an offensive player tackled inside the end zone.
What is offside?
A violation where a defensive player moves across the scrimmage line before the ball is snapped.
What is a laterals?
A backward/sideways pitch from the QB to running back.
What is a interception?
A pass caught by the defensive team.
What is line of scrimmage?
The imaginary line where the ball is placed, and both the offensive and defensive team must stay behind until the ball is snapped.
What is the punter?
The player that punts the ball down field on 4th down. (specialty players)
What is a place kicker?
The player behind the game, restarts the game after a score, and kicks field goals for extra points.
Where do you hold the football?
