Chemical weathering
Is where a chemical change takes place which causes rock or Earth material to dissolve or decay.
Physical/Mechanical Weathering
The physical disintegration of rock or Earth's material by the actual breaking apart of separate particles.

Results from the physical and chemical weathering and their effects on living organisms.
