Freedom
-an intrinsic and essential property of the person.
-free being
-ability to make choices and perform actions.
-sets us apart from other beings

-ROOTED IN THE HUMAN PERSON'S SELF-DETERMINATION AND THE EXERCISE OF INTELLECT AND FREE WILL.
-NATURAL ABILITY OF EVERY HUMAN PERSON TO THINK, CHOOSE, AND ACT ACCORDING TO REASON AND CONSCIENCE.
-allows individuals to reflect themselves

Physical Freedom
-absence of any physical restraint
-has the freedom of mobility to go where he or she wants to go.
-granted that the person has natural limitations
-YOU CANNOT BE EVERYWHERE AT ONCE, BUT YOUR FREEDOM ALLOWS YOU TO MOVE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER TO ANOTHER AND TO GO SOMEWHERE YOU WANT TO GO.
Psychological Freedom
-Also called FREEDOM OF CHOICE
-the person is free to perform actions that he or she considers right and wise.
-HAS OPTIONS/CHOICES
-also free to act or not to act
-INNATE AND CANNOT BE DENIED AS A PERSON
-NO OUTSIDE FORCE OR INFLUENCE CAN COMPEL A PERSON TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST HIS OR HER WILL.
Moral Freedom
-using freedom in a manner that upholds human dignity and goodness.
-MUST use his or her freedom to grow as a person
-HUMANS HAVE A NATURAL INCLINATION FOR WHAT IS TRUE AND GOOD, AND WHEN A PERSON USES HIS OR HER FREEDOM TO DO ACTS THAT VIOLATE HUMAN DIGNITY OR GOODNESS, HE OR SHE DEHUMANSIZES F OR HIMSELF OR HERSELF AND EFFECTIVELY NEGATES HUMAN FREEDOM.

Voluntariness
-refers to the ability of a person to act out of his or her own free will and self-determination.

-have positive or negative meaning, and it goes hand-in-hand with voluntariness in determining the morality of an action.

-vital in the proper exercise of human freedom.
Human Freedom
-should be exercised with control and a recognition of reasonable limits.
-we set limits to our own freedom and learn to moderate or control our thoughts, emotions, and actions depending on the situation.
