what are non-infectious diseases?
can’t spread form affected to a healthy person
what is an infectious disease?
transmits from affected person to a healthy person
what are emerging diseases?
diseases caused by a newly identified or previously unknown agent
what are re-emerging diseases?
reappearance of a know diseases after a significant decline in incidence
what are endemic diseases?
constantly present in a population or region, with relatively low spread
what are epidemic diseases?
sudden increases ni cases spreading though a large population
what pandemic diseases?
sudden increases in cases across several places around the world
