Lymphoid System and Immunity
returns fluids and proteins to the blood, transports fats from the digestive system, and helps defend the body against infections.
Respiratory System
brings oxygen into the body, removes carbon dioxide, helps maintain acid-base balance, and enables sound production.
Digestive System
breaks down food, absorbs nutrients, and eliminates solid waste.
Urinary System
produces and removes urine, eliminates wastes, regulates blood and fluid balance, maintains mineral and acid-base balance, and helps control red blood cell production.
Genital Systems
produces and transports reproductive cells, releases hormones that regulate reproduction, and in females, produces milk to nourish offspring
