Those who quit within last 6 months, or exposure to environmental tobacco

Physical inactivity

Not meeting 500-1000 MET min of moderate to vigorous activity or 75-150 min/wk of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity

BMI/Waist circumference

BMI ≥ 30

Men waist: 102 cm

Women waist: 88 sm

BP

SBP of ≥130 AND/OR DBP of ≥80

(Based on two readings at 2 consecutive visits)

Lipids

LDL: ≥130

HDL: <40 in men, <50 in women

Total serum cholesterol: ≥200

Blood glucose

Fasting plasma glucose: ≥100

2hr plasma glucose values in oral glucose tolerance test: ≥140
