● A Chapter must first have 5 Full Members in good standing

in a general geographic region.

● These Full Members must demonstrate the ability to function by

o Holding meetings

o Planning events

o Working to fulfill the mission of ONYX.

● There are generally 6 organizational functions (as defined by the By-Laws) that can be

achieved by 5 members: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Road Captain,

Pledge Master.

● Founders must send a Request of Intent to ONYX National in Chicago and a vote is held

with the Full Brothers of all chapters who are present and in good standing voting.

Onyx Pearls Mission

To build a Siblinghood that supports, educates, and empowers Women, Trans-inclusive,

Non-binary, Gender Queer, Femme identified, Butch, Trans Masc people, of Color (Black,

Latinx, Asian, Pasifika Islander, Indigenous, People of the Global Majority) involved in

Leather/BDSM/Fetish Lifestyles. As a responsible Leather Organization in the NYC

Metro Community, we strive to engage in social, educational, service, and charitable

endeavors in the New York/New Jersey area that foster friendships and promote women

and femme safety and the larger bdsm, kink, and Leather community.
