Cranial Cavity
Houses the brain

Vertebral canal
Houses the vertebral column (the spine)

Thoracic Cavity
Contains the trachea, bronchi, lungs, esophagus, heart, and thymus gland

Abdominal Cavity
Includes the stomach, liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, small intestine, kidneys, large intestine, and adrenal glands

Pelvic Cavity
At the end of the large intestines containing reproductive organs, the urinary bladder, the colon, and the rectum.

Abdominopelvic Cavity
Includes the abdominal cavity and pelvic cavity.

Diaphragm
The muscle that separates the thoracic cavity and abdominopelvic cavity.

Mediastinum
The central portion of the thoracic cavity in between the lungs.
It contains all chest organs except the lungs (heart, aorta, thymus gland, chest portion of trachea, esophagus)

Pericardial Cavity
A part of the mediastinum that contains the heart

Pleural Cavity
A fluid-filled space surrounding the lungs, enclosed by the ribs and sternum

Dorsal Body Cavity
Cranial cavity & Vertebral cavity

Ventral body cavity
Thoracic + Abdominopelvic cavity
