Information Provision
Provides facts intended to change beliefs and behaviour, often based on Health Belief Model, Theory of Planned Behavior, or Health Action Process Approach.
Motivational Interviewing
A collaborative, person-centered method that strengthens motivation for change by exploring pros and cons of current behaviour and addressing cognitive dissonance.
Egan's Model in Problem-Solving
A method useful in the Preparation stage of change involving problem exploration, goal setting, and facilitating action.
SMART Goals
A goal-setting framework that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
Implementation Intentions
