The basic building block of organisms. The simpliest level of organization.

Many cells working together to from tissues. They work together to accomplish one common goal.

Organ Definition

Layers of tissue working together to from an organ. Major organs include brain, lungs, liver, stomach, kidneys, heart and skin.

What is the organ system?

When organs work together they form organ systems. Mammels have 11 organ systems.

What is an organism?

An individual, plant, animal, or single cell life form that can function, on their own is considered an organism.

Is a scientifc theory a claim posed by an individual?

No, a group of scientists must be in agreement.
Well supported by evidence.

Yes, a disease that attacks some cells is a big deal
