Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP)
is the WHO action programme developed for countries especially with low and lower middle incomes for scaling up services for mental, neurological, and substance use disorders.
The essence is partnerships to reinforce and to accelerate efforts and increase investments towards providing services to those who do not have any
MHGAP Objectives
To reinforce the commitment of government, international organizations, and other stakeholders to increase the allocation of financial and human resources w of MNS disorders
To achieve much higher coverage with key interventions in the countries with low and lower middle incomes that have a large proportion of the global burden of MNS disorder
