Komunikasyon (Communication)
Not only about the content of a message but also about the manner of expression, including tone and intonation which provide deeper meaning.
Tone and Intonation
Important aspects of communication according to the Teachy Learning Platform (Teachy, 2024) that convey emotion and deeper meaning beyond literal words.
Wika (Language)
A systematic way of communication used by humans to express ideas, feelings, attitudes, and information.
Mabisang Komunikasyon (Effective Communication)
As defined by DepEd (2023), this requires the appropriate use of language based on the purpose and context of the situation.
Pormal (Formal Language)
A type of language that is careful and respectful, using standard words accepted and used by many, particularly those who have studied the language.
Di-pormal / Impormal (Informal Language)
Common, everyday casual words used in conversation and social interaction.
Tono (Tone)
The way a message is expressed through voice or words, showing the speaker's emotion, attitude, or intention (Teachy, 2024).
Layon (Purpose)
The 'Why' of communication; the underlying reason or objective for why a message is being sent.
Awdyens (Audience)
The 'Who' in communication; refers to the person being spoken to or the receiver of the message.
Konteksto (Context)
The 'Where and When' of communication; the specific situation, place, and time in which a conversation occurs.
