Traumatic Injury
1 trauma pad, 1 sam split, 1 turn-a-kit, 1 roller gauze, 1 gauze pad, 1 pair of shears, and 1 pack of cravats.
Respitory Emergency
Non-Negotioables, 1 adult and pediatric non-rebreather, 1 adult and pediatric nasual cannula, 1 adult and pediatric BVM, and 1 oxygen tank
OB (Obestricts)
Non-Negotiablees, 2 OB kits, 2 towels, and 2 blankets
Diabetic Emergency
Non-Negotioables, glucose, and glucometer
Stair Chair
Do not use if the patient has an altered mental status and/or spinal injuries. Used to take patients down a set of stairs.
Backboard
Use when a patient has a spinal injury, lack of and/or “tingling” feeling in the extremities, and/or if the patient is intoxicated.
Scoop Stretcher
Use when the patient has an injury to the pelvis and or hip. If the patient can not be “rolled” onto the extrication device and does not have a spinal injury, use a scoop stretcher.
Reeves
Can be used for numerous extrication events. If the patient has an altered mental status and/or spinal injury and requires movement down stairs, use the reeves as a substitute to the stair chair.
Padded Board Splints
When a patient has long-bone injuries, using the padded board split in conjunction with the cravets to immobilize the injured area.
