Positive Nuclear Source
The central part of an atom in the nuclear model that contains most of the atom's mass and carries a positive charge.
Proton
Small positive particles located within the nucleus that give the nucleus its positive charge.
Electron
Negatively charged particles found in the outer regions of the atom.
Nuclear Size
The approximate dimension of a nucleus, given as 1×10−14m or 0.00000000000001m.
Alpha Scattering
The process/experiment referenced in connection with moving from the plum pudding model to the nuclear model.
