Assimilation
Process by which people of one culture merge into and become part of another culture
Bias
Prejudice; thinking negatively of others without any significant justification
Generally consists of stereotypes beliefs and negative attitudes
Biculturalism
being able to negotiate two or more different cultures competently, individual and mainstream
Discrimination
Unequal treatment based on such factors as race, religion, nationality, gender, age, or physical appearance
