Eggs are laid and embryos develop outside of the female’s body

Ovivipary

embryos develop inside an egg inside a mother’s body, where they are completely seperated from the mother’s body

Vivipary

young develop inside the uterus of the mother after eggs are fertilised internally and nourished via mother’s body
