bioinformatics in simple words is using computers to store , search , compare and understand the biological data.
bioinformatics = biology + computing / information.
bioinformatics is a interdisciplinary research area which is at interface between computer science and biological science.
bioinformatics is basically a technology which help us store , search , analyze , manipulate , retrieve the quantitative information related to macromolecules like DNA , RNA , PROTIENS using computing tools and computers.
bioinformatics is not about memorizing databases , its about asking biological questions and use data to find answer .
