Communication
A multifaceted process that involves the exchange of information, ideas, and feelings between individuals or groups.
Communis
The Latin word meaning 'common' from which the word communication originates.
Social Interaction
Enables us to build relationships, share experiences, and create communities.

Allows individuals to express their thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

Speaker
The source of information or message.
Message
The information, ideas, or thought conveyed by the speaker in words or actions.
Encoding
The process of converting the message into words, actions, or other forms that the speaker understands.
Channel
The medium or the means, in which the encoded message is conveyed.
Noise
Factors that affect the flow of communication.
Barrier
Anything that hinders or distracts the conversation.
External Noise
Sounds produced by the environment where the communication takes place.
Internal Noise
Pertains to mental disturbances.
Decoding
The process of interpreting the encoded message of the speaker by the receiver.
Context
The environment where the communication takes place.
Feedback
The reactions, responses, or information provided by the receiver.
Receiver
The recipient of the message, or someone who decodes the message.
