Paleolithic age

A period of time from prehistory that lasted from about 2.5 million years ago to around 10,000 BCE this time period ended with the invention of more complex tools.

Hunter gather

A person that hunted animals and gathered plants to eat in order to stay alive.

Nomad

A person who does not live in one place. They move to different places with their animals when the seasons change to find water and food for their animals.

Neolithic age

A period of time from about 10,000 - 4,500 BCE. It started with the invention of farming

Agriculture

Growing crops and raising animals to use as food.

Domestic

Making animals more useful to people.

Having too much of something.

Scarcity

Not having enough of something.

Civilization

A society that has food for people, different type jobs, government, social levels, and cultural.

Culture

The attitude, behaviors, and beliefs, and customs of a group of people.

Cultural diffusion

The spreading of ideas from one group of people to another.
