Working Memory Model
Theory proposed by Baddeley and Hitch 1974.
The theory suggests the working memory (short-term memory) is a mental workspace which provides a temporary place for relevant information used for cognitive tasks.
Phonological Loop
Responsible for the auditory component of the working memory.
Visuospatial Sketchpad
Responsible for the visual component of the working memory.
