Point
A location that has no size or shape; always named using a CAPITAL LETTER, such as point A.
Line
Made up of points; any 2 points form a line. It has no thickness or width and is named by any two points on the line (e.g., XY) or a lowercase script letter (e.g., line n).
Collinear Points
Points that lie on the same line.
Non-collinear Points
Points that do NOT lie on the same line; there must be at least 3 points involved.
Plane
A flat surface made up of points that extends indefinitely in all directions; any 3 points make up a plane. It is named by any three non-collinear points (e.g., plane KJL) or an uppercase script letter (e.g., plane P).
Coplanar Points
Points that lie on the same plane.
Non-coplanar Points
Points that do NOT lie on the same plane; there must be at least 4 points involved.
Intersection of Two Lines
The specific location where two lines meet, which is always a point.
Intersection of Two Planes
The shared set of points where two planes meet, which is always a line.
