Lacrimal Bone
Forms part of the side of the face, located between the nasal bone and the maxillae.
Maxillae
Forms the upper part of the jaw, the roof of the mouth, and part of the eye socket and nose.
Palatine Bones
A pair of L-shaped bones found along the posterior aspect of the nasal and oral cavities.
Nasal Bones
Two small symmetrical oblong bones, each having two surfaces and four borders.
Zygomatic Bones
One pair of bones on each side of the face that forms the cheek and eye socket.
Inferior Nasal Concha
Extends horizontally along the lateral walls of the nasal cavity.
Mandible
The largest and strongest bone in the body, also known as the jaw.
Hyoid Bone
Supports the tongue and plays a key role in speaking and swallowing; it is the only floating bone.
Vomer
The small thin bone that separates the left and right nasal cavities.
