when you measure or quantify during the experiment, this is way more detailed i guess

very controlled procedures that are used to make observations to either prove or disprove a hypothesis

a brief statement that summarizes past observations and predicts future ones (they described how nature behaves and make predictions about what they think nature is gonna do)

a model for the way nature is and tries to explain not merely what but why
