Research Proposal

It is a concise and coherent summary of your proposed research. It sets out the central issues or questions that you intend to address.

Research

It is defined as a sign of intelligence. In which intelligence involves the ability to learn and adapt to the changing environment.

He defines research as a careful, critical, disciplined inquiry, varying in technique and method according to the nature and conditions of the problem identified, directed toward clarification or resolution (or both) of a problem.

He defines that research, is simply, the systematic search for pertinent information on a specific topic or problem.

He defines research as the “systematic study of investigation of something for the purpose of answering questions posed by the researcher”

They define research as the process of gathering data or information to solve a particular or specific problem in a scientific manner.

They defined that research’s purpose is to serve man and its goal is the good life.

Existence Questions, Description and Classification Questions, Composition Questions, Relationship Questions, Descriptive-Comparative Questions, Causality Questions

What are the 6 types of research question?

Existence Questions

It refers to a phenomenon, concept, behavior, action or condition.

Description and Classification Questions

It aims to find out how much a particular concept, phenomenon, or condition applies to a specific population.

Composition Questions

It asks about the specific elements that make up a concept behavior, act, or condition.

Relationship Questions

It asks whether there is a relationship or association between two concepts or objects.

Descriptive-Comparative Questions

Asks whether one object or idea is different from another. Typically, each group has a characteristic that distinguishes it from the other group, such as age, sex, or socioeconomic status.

Causality Questions

It asks whether one thing impacts or causes another thing.

Title

It should give a clear indication of your proposed research approach or key question.

Abstract

It is a brief summary (about 300 words) of the study you are proposing.

Background & Rationale

It is the first section of a paper and establishes the context underlying the research. It contains the rationale, the key problem statement, and a brief overview of research questions that are addressed in the rest of paper.

Research Questions

You should formulate these clearly, giving an explanation as to what problems and issues are to be explored & why they are worth exploring.

Research Methodology

In a research proposal, you must thoroughly explain how you will conduct your study.

Bibliography

It is a list of references to key articles and texts discussed within you research proposal.
